Lance Armstrong visits Mercy Regional Medical Center, Durango, CO
Lance Armstrong, seven-time winner of the Tour de France and cancer survivor, visited the Mercy Regional Breast Care Center at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Durango, CO. The founder of the LIVESTRONG foundation spent 30 minutes talking with hospital staff and representatives of the Mercy Health Foundation. Armstrong was in Durango for the premier of Race Across the Sky, a documentary film about the Leadville 100 mountain bike race. Construction of Mercy Regional Breast Care Center was recently completed and the center will open for service November 3.
